The Archive Content Downloader (ACD) is an Java program that connects to a specified SAP ArchiveLink content server for downloading documents specified in a user defined document id list.
Using the ACD allows a system administrator to connect to an SAP ArchiveLink compliant content repository via HTTP configuration and download a set of specified documents. All access can be HTTPS and SAP SecKey secured, through adding SAP security keys (secKeys) to all content server HTTP calls.
The ACD loops through the list of specified documents and downloads each data file to a specified output directory as an individual file. The filename can be set as a simple combination of the repository id and the unique document id, specifying the respective document, or as a combination of various parameters. The file extension of the document (file type: PDF, DOC, TXT etc.) can either be specified for each document in the download list –or– it can be automatically determined based on the Content-Type in the HTTP header transmitted by the content server. The transmitted Content-Type is matched against a customizable list of Content-Type / File Extension in a user defined configuration file.
Every call, every downloaded document, is recorded and the respective HTTP status is written to a log file and stdout. This allows for full compliance documentation and easy result checking of the downloaded batch of documents.
With the ACD by solutionXchg the time-consuming effort of copying documents out of a content repository is completely eliminated. Batches of documents can be quickly downloaded on demand for all kinds of business reasons. Many customers use the ACD functionality to prepare a set of documents for an auditor, to comply with “in country” document storage requirements, to make a set of documents available for a divestiture or spin-off, no matter the size, from downloading 50 documents to 150, to 1,500, or even 50,000 documents.

License Key Information
The product auto-installs with a 30-day evaluation license.
A full usage license can be obtained by sending a license request to info@solutionXchg.com. SolutionXchg offers enterprise wide licenses with an annual maintenance fee or single computer licenses without annual maintenance fee. Licensing is perpetual for a specific version. If you would like to update or upgrade your single computer license simply re-purchase the software with an existing customer upgrade discount. Purchases can be made by CreditCard/PurchaseCard only. We will send you a Square.com invoice with purchasing instructions. Upon receipt of funds, we transmit a valid license key. Your purchase is guaranteed by your CreditCard/PurchaseCard and Square.com.
Please be advised that after the 30-day evaluation license has expired, the product will stop to work. With and evaluation license, it will work in a test mode only. It will not allow secured calls. Document types are limited to PDF documents only. The number of document per batch is limited to 10 documents.
