Wells Fargo Consolidates SAP Archives

With strategic help from SolutionXchg and the use of the KGS Migration Tool for SAP Archives, Wells Fargo moved over 2.8 million documents onto an IBM FileNet P8 target document archiving solution. The solutionXchg team moved all documents from an outdated IXOS/OpenText archive server and an ailing SAP ContentServer to the target system in a seamless operation, with ZERO impact on end-users and existing business processes. Using the unique proxy functionality of the KGS Migration4ArchiveLink tool, end users started archiving new documents onto the target system from day one and retrieving documents from both the source and target systems simultaneously – all this while legacy documents migrated at high speed in the background. The actual migration of documents took all but 15 work days – completely risk free and revision proof. Wells Fargo team members praised the migration a  “non-event, with stakeholders extremely happy”!
