KGS Architecture

The KGS ContentServer4Storage is an HTTP-server for SAP®. As a Java application it can run on any plattform (Windows, Unix, Linux,...). Because of its simple and universal technology, it requires very little special system knowledge to support it and is ideal for any outsourcing scenario or centralized management. The KGS ContentServer4Storage can run parallel to any legacy archive and therefore allows for a smooth and user friendly (no system downtime) migration over time. The built in migration tool triggers the migration of documents from within SAP® (both by batch or user document retrieval).  

SAP ARchiveLink™ Viewer or Adobe®

Our migration tool allows us to render all documents into PDF format which is retrievable through Adobe® Acrobat Reader. For all tiff documents that need to be kept in the tiff format the SAP ArchiveLink™ viewer provides all the functionality needed at zero cost.

Check your license contract and find out what you already own! Many companies own software with essentially the same functionality multiple times. Your organization has chosen SAP® as its corporate computing platform - make sure you are using all the functionality SAP® provides. You are already paying maintenance for it, but you might be able to cut maintenance on other duplicate components.
